Any Christian sects, such as Amish, that won't write the name of God/Christ even if part of a given name like Christian spelled Xtian?

I know there are some Hassidic or Orthodox Jews who will not even write the word God, preferring the designation G-d because the name is so sacred and they will not casually write any name for God. Heard it is also the case with the Amish and maybe Mennonites or Hutterites. Is this true? There is an artist for ex., who predominantly paints the Amish and spells his name Christian like Xtian to use the X to replace the sacred name of Christ. Cannot find this tradition anywhere but my sister-in-law insisted it was true. I read in a bio that he used the X in his name only to be different and I don't even think he was actually Amish--just liked painting them.

    X = Christ.

    Xmas = Christmas

    Xtian = Christian

    This is what many Atheists call Christians, it offends them because we don't use the word "Christ" who is the son of God and saviour of mankind. It's just shortening the word.

    Yes That is true of Hassidic Jews but Halkaline Jews don't have a problem with it!
