    100 peas / 3/4 cup x 1 cup = 100 peas x 4 /3 = 400 / 3 peas = about 133 peas

it is impossible to say as no two peas are exactly alike and therefore no two cups of peas are exactly alike

Then how many in one quarter cup? Figure out that. Then how many in a whole?

This is insanely simple for anyone past third grade.

False assumptions and false reasoning lead to false conclusions. Is the 3/4 cup full? Is the whole cup full of peas?

Assuming both are full, then the relationship follows:

    (100/(3/4)) = x / (4/4)

Multiply both sides by (4/4) to get x, which is your answer.

    100 peas per 3/4 cup → 100/(3/4) = 400/3 = 133 peas per cup
