Liberal Democrats, if 2018 is going to be your year, then explain why Republicans are winning all the special elections in 2017?

The latest win was this week in Montana.

You know they don't do the hard questions, so why do you insist on embarrassing them even further?

All those special elections are in very conservative districts, yet they were all close. Meanwhile Trump won them by huge margins. Doesn't this show that his support is shrinking? If not, explain how.

Oh, and thank you for having Obama and Hillary as candidates. The GOP couldn't have done it without you! Lol!

Becuase these are Republican leaning districts. Montana has been Rep for 20 years. Trump won the district by over 20 points in the fall. The KS 4th has been Republican for over 20 years too. In the fall, Trump won the district by 27 pts.

Despite leaning heavily Republican, Democrats put up surprisingly good showings. In Montana, Republicans barely won against a little known Democrat. In Kansas, the Democrat, who had zero name recognition weeks before the race, came within 7 points of winning, a twenty point swing from the fall. This is despite Republicans pulling out all the stops, including robocalls from Trump and others and personal appearances from national figures. In the GA 6th, which Republicans have held for fortt years, the Democrat is tied. Thats a remarkable level of energy which bodes well for 2018. If the Dems are barely lose heavily Republican districts then theyve got a real good chance of taking lots of swing districts held by Republicans.

You don't have to support all Americans if you don't want to.

Well, they are winning them in districts that have been GOP districts for years. IF you look at the vote totals, they are winning them by a lot less than is typical. That district (it's actually at large) is historically GOP, usually winning the seat with 60-65% of the vote. HE won with barely over 50% of the vote. That should worry the GOP, quite a lot.

Because the Democratic party is now a 3rd party and liberalism is almost dead.
