When I get my hair done, its $4.75 for the hair cut and $17 to color it. As the person doing NY hair is a student, I figure $3 is more than 15 per cent and sufficient. I can't fathom paying that much for one haircut. My husband, our two older kids and I can get hair cuts and I van get mine colored for $37 or less. Beauty schools ate great.
ETA: $7 is about fifteen per cent.
