Thousands of companies have an Investment in Mexico with one or more Manufacturing facilities in their world wide network of stuff. Heineken, VW, Toyota. Siemens,Walmex (Walmart) and on and on.

Mexico has trade agreements with many countries to promote the trade between the countries involved.

In the Free Zones near Ports Many many companies have set up operation to assemble stuff imported into Mexico for some sort of processing and then exported back to the same place or some other place.

A simple example. A Car Manufacturer imports the parts to make a car from many suppliers(countries). The car is assembled and then exported to many countries for sale.

Ford and GM both have assembly plants in Mexico.

Plus several pharmaceutical companies have drug manufacturing plants in Mexico where the pollution laws are not as strict as First World Countries.
