Thousands of companies have an Investment in Mexico with one or more Manufacturing facilities in their world wide network of stuff. Heineken, VW, Toyota. Siemens,Walmex (Walmart) and on and on.

A simple example. A Car Manufacturer imports the parts to make a car from many suppliers(countries). The car is assembled and then exported to many countries for sale.

Ford and GM both have assembly plants in Mexico.
Plus several pharmaceutical companies have drug manufacturing plants in Mexico where the pollution laws are not as strict as First World Countries.
