State of Decay 2 and Steam?
So its saying windows 10 exclusive . If it gets released on steam will anyone be able to play it or will it still just be windows 10. For a co-op game they are sure limiting the options of who you can play with lol

I think that when it comes to Steam, it will become available for 7 and 8/8.1 as well, based on what happened with Quantum Break and Dead Rising 4.
Quantum Break and Dead Rising 4 were "Microsoft Exclusives" - they launched only on the Microsoft Store which is only available on Windows 10. After the "Exclusivity Period" ended (I want to say it was 90 days), then they became available on Steam and the system requirements relaxed. Part of the reason the minimum requirement initially was Windows 10... is just because that version of the Store isn't available on earlier versions of Windows.
The *only* reason why State of Decay 2 might still require Windows 10 even after being released on other storefronts is if it is only available in DirectX 12, which, to my understanding, is a Windows 10 exclusive feature that previous OS are not compatible with.
