I'm planning to move to Massachusetts from New Jersey. Do I need to transfer my license if I won't be driving there?

I'm planning to live there for at least one year, if not more.

Do I need to register my new address at the post office? Will I need to inform other organization that I moved to MA?

Thanks!

Yes, the state of Massachusetts will require that you apply for a state issued license within 30 days of establishing residency.

If you won't drive there is no need for a drivers license . You need merely to fill out a change of address card at your Post office.

yes since if you plan on living there for a year or more. you just never know if you plan on driving or not and your NJ license expires. if you want your mail then yes you need to notify them
