What is the voltage through R2?
The following circuit is connected to a 12 V battery. If R1=520Ω and R2=650 Ω , what is the voltage through R2? (Neglect the internal resistance of the battery.)
I can't post a pic of the circuit but it is in series

Voltage is not "through" R2 but across R2.., However, the current can be said as through R2
Voltage across R2 = R2/(R1+R2) x 12 = [650/(520+650)] x 12 = 6.67V
