Sure, you can request it. You may have to wait longer for a fresh bash to be dropped in the fryer and prepared without salt.
Salt doesn't add calories, but it may lead to water retention. If you don't want to "get fat" then make sure you don't consume more calories than your body needs. Eating fried food of any kind, is not the best way to do that. You're mistaken if you think leaving off the salt will make fries have lower calories. Perhaps you're just being silly and pretending not to know...

You can request no salt on your fries, but you'll have to wait for the next batch to be cooked. Just so you know, salt doesn't make you fat.

It;s not really the salt that makes fries unhealthy, it's the fact that they are fried. If you wanna be healthy just eat baked fries and not fried fries. (that sounds funny together lol)

Salt isn't going to make you fat. It's the oil that the potatoes are cooked in as well as the starches and carbohydrates in the fries themselves being converted and stored as fat.
You want to keep the weight off? Only have the fries as a once in a while treat, keep it to a small portion and for the rest of the time eat healthy and exercise.
