Panic attack or allergic reaction?

Okay so just about every other day, this weird thing happens to me that feels like someone is reaching /inside/ of my neck but on the outside of my throat, and strangling me. I can breathe normally but it hurts so bad. It also feels like a fire in a weird way. But it usually happens when I'm very stressed out or right after I take my antidepressants. But sometimes it happens completely out of nowhere.

I can help. I have severe Bipolar disorder with anxiety and panic so I am very familiar with panic. It sounds like from what you described you are actually having a panic attack. Tightness in the chest and trouble breathing are two symptoms of panic. Also trembling weakness and sweating are other signs. Low blood sugar can cause panic so eat well and healthy. Avoid caffeine, sugar and alcohol as well. I REALLY hope that helps you out. Also see a psychiatrist quickly and a therapist. Call today because doctors get busy and may not be able to see you right away. I take a holistic view being a pyramid of body mind and spirit. Religion and ir spirituality can really help along with exercise and heal;thy eating. Please vote me for best answer if I helped you .feel better HUGZ Raymond

I dont think its an allergic reaction. Sounds more like a panic attack. Perhaps you need tablets that cover both panic attacks and depression.

I get the same thing often do-not-worry but if your concerned you can always go to the doctor. ☺
