Diarrhoea? Should I go to doctor?

Apologies for the not so nice topic but I could really use some help.

At 3am yesterday I woke up and went to the toilet, found out I have diarrhoea. The first one was a dark brown liquid that shot out. I went back to bed and lasted until 6am when I went again and then another time in the space of ten minutes. I needed to go again at 7:20 and at other intervals quite frequently.

I had a slice of toast for breakfast with butter, which stayed down fine, and for lunch I had a bowl of soup and some bread. As the day wore on I needed to go less often, luckily, as I was needing to wipe so much in my frequent toilet visits that my *** was getting sore. Then one time I wiped and saw a bit of red blood on the tissue.

Now I read up on diarrhoea and it said, if there s blood in it, you need to go see a doctor. The poo itself is a light yellow-brown. So I m not actually sure if this blood is from my raw *** or from my poo. Also my poo seems slightly shiny like there s mucous in it. I think that s normal but I m not sure.

I went to bed at 7:30 and slept until now, 2:30am, where I promptly visited the toilet.

It said to see a doctor if your sleep cycle is being interrupted but I m not sure what they can do about that.

I m trying to keep hydrated but it s hard to do when drinking water gives you stomachache and wind..

Yeah so if anyone can help me with the blood/should I visit a doctor thing I would be grateful.

All answers are appreciated.
