Does anyone have or know people with parents that frequently use social media instead of the kids?

For example, stuff like Facebook and twitter and Snapchat are mostly used by teenagers/young adults. I'm 19 years old and I don't even use any of that stuff to be honest. I'm just not into it, but my mom on the other hand uses Facebook everyday and she's in her 40s. Does anyone live a life like that or know people with lives like that where instead of the kids being interested in social media, it's the parents/guardians?

Sure. I actually have a good friend who is in her early 40s and her mom who is in her 80s uses Facebook more than her. I know many others like this too for example one friend is in her 60s and she uses Facebook more than youngest daughter who is in her early 20s. There is no required age for Facebook.
