Why do muslims not understand Jesus said He is Almighty GOD in the Holy Bible?
Jesus never said, "I am not GOD; do not worship Me!" He accepted worship and never told anyone not to worship Him. He forgave sins which only GOD can do.
Jesus said He is God and "the Son of GOD" in the New Testament in many ways.
John 5:18
"Because of this, the Jews tried all the harder to kill Him. Not only was He breaking the Sabbath, but He was even calling God His own Father, making Himself equal with God."
John 19:7
"We have a law," answered the Jews, "and according to that law He must die, because He declared Himself to be the Son of God."
John 10:30-33
30 "I and the Father are One.”
31 Again His Jewish opponents picked up stones to stone Him, 32 but Jesus said to them, “I have shown you many good works from the Father. For which of these do you stone Me?”
33 “We are not stoning you for any good work,” they replied, “but for blasphemy, because you, a mere man, claim to be God.”
On another occasion, He used the Personal Name of Israel’s GOD–the Name revealed to Moses, "I AM". (Exodus 3:14)–to refer to Himself. And He even used the Torah for context, so no one would misunderstand Him: “Before Abraham was, I AM” (John 8:58).
The Jews at the time of Jesus knew Jesus said "I AM GOD!"
So why do muslims not understand this?

Jesus never said that He was God, but He and His Father said this:
Jesus said he was God's son, Almighty God said that Jesus was his son.
Jesus plainly stated that he was more than a good man. He said: I am God’s Son. John 10:36 Of course, anyone could claim to be the Son of God. But if Jesus’ claim were false, what would that make him? Really, not a good man, but a great fraud!
The most reliable testimony came from God himself. He twice said concerning Jesus: This is my Son. Matthew 3:17; 17:5 Just think: The Scriptures report only a few occasions when God’s own voice was heard on earth yet on two of them he affirmed Jesus as his Son!
This is by far the best proof that Jesus was who he said he was. Jesus never claimed to be God, but he repeatedly spoke of himself as God’s Son. Even his enemies acknowledged this.
Jesus never even suggested that he was God or was equal to him. So to teach such a thing dishonors Jesus.
He is God’s Son. Whereas his father is Almighty God.

Yes, Jesus also said in other parts that He wasn't God.
And the Jews don't understand Jesus is God, either. That's an outright lie.
I'm a Baha'i, a member of the Baha'i Faith. We believe there is only one God, that sent Buddha, Jesus, Moses, etc to humanity, now Baha’u’llah has come.

Jesus did NOT. He prayed to his father Jehovah, making Jesus secondary to almighty God. [Jehovah / exodus 6:3 ]
