Do I have anxiety?

Ever since I was eight or so years old, I think I've had anxiety. When ANY event that I know about is going to happen, I will NOT SLEEP, my stomach will hurt like hell (when I was a kid, I'd have to go home from school), and a headache will occur and I will feel the need to throw up(but I always hold it down). I only know that this happens to my dad. Do I have anxiety?

Go see a mental health professional for a complete diagnosis and a solid treatment plan.

Yes sounds like you definitely have anxiety. I would try to get your parents to take you to a doctor who can help teach you some coping tools a long with maybe some anxiety medication if you want to take that route. I have anxiety also but with the right tools it can be lowered drastically.

Thanks for reaching out! Anxiety can cause a lot of unpleasant physical symptoms, like nausea, headaches, and sleeplessness. It can also take a big emotional toll on you.

There is a chance you have anxiety. However, the only way to know for sure is to get evaluated by a doctor or a counselor. Consider talking to your school counselor or family doctor about how you've been feeling. They may be able to help you find further assistance with handing your anxiety.

If you need additional assistance, consider contacting a crisis hotline, where a counselor can listen, provide support, and help you locate counselors in your community (if you're interested).

    Take care!

Nobody can diagnose you over the internet, you idiot, not even a doctor, and we're not doctors.

Go to a doctor. Stop being stupid.
