Should we take down most of DC's monuments? Because a lot of the founding fathers owned slaves?

We need to replace them with huge statues of Bigfoot, chupacabra, Mothman and endangered animals, and hot White women.

Even Black people owned slaves back in the day.

So these confederate statues coming down has nothing to do with owning slaves.

They represent a legacy of hatred in this country. These people in the statues went to war against this nation and committed treason to try and keep the status quo of slavery.

Nope. Unlike the REBELS, the founding fathers did not fight a war to keep slaves.

It's not the fact that they ''owned slaves'' that is the problem .. it's the fact that they fought on the side that wanted to keep slavery going in the civil war.

No.

Did the Confederates?

Yes they did.

Or should we just get a life instead?

We should disband the entire country over how our nation treated native americans.

Take down only those of confederates who were guilty of treason and killed Americans to try and keep slavery legal

or...............we can live in the now. Get a job, go to work, go home and live life.
