do i need another x-ray?

Recently i was sitting on a chair that was high up and my feet couldn't touch the ground. someone yanked me forward and the chair tipped making me fall and i landed with my big toe down and all my weight went on it. In the moment i was drunk, i remember knowing it hurt extremely bad and then the next morning it began to swell and bruise. that next day i went and got an x-ray, the doctor said she didn't think it was a bruised bone, but a broken metatarsal because it was so swollen. so i got an x-ray and no breaks showed. it's now 5 days later and the bruising has gotten worse and is starting to spread up my forefoot. The pain is still there and i can't walk on it. they said to call back and get another x-ray in the next 5-7 days if it still hurts because it could be a stress fracture. do you think it's a stress fracture??
