Not worth it.

That depends on what is wrong with it. No average price. Will vary with the problem and the time it takes to fix it.

There ISN'T a meaningful average. Depending on the UNKNOWN issue, repair could mean vacuuming the coils, which will cost you $0.00 and 5 minutes of your own time. It could mean replacing the ENTIRE 'guts' of the unit, in which case it will cost less to replace the entire refrigerator.

Depends on the damage but major repairs are frequently cost prohibitive. If repair costs equal or exceed 50% of the cost of a new unit just replace it. Refrigerators frequently have problems and are the ONLY pieces of equipment on which I buy extended warrantees.

You could do it yourself if it is the fan in ice box or the thermactor in the ice box or the defrost thawing element in the ice box or the timer, usually down at the front bottom at the little removable grill. If it is a loss of coolant, would need professional help.
Find out if ice box fan is coming on and not making noises like screeching. If not coming on could be the timer or the fan motor or the ice could be built up preventing the fan to turn. If the ice box is full of ice and the fan is not working because it is frozen by ice, especially after removing plastic shroud in ice box to see, the fan is probably toast, except if timer not working and you need to find out why the ice has been building up; ice build up: fan not working or thermactor bad or defrost heat coil bad or timer bad. If no ice built up, probably just bad fan motor or timer. You can manually move the timer to reset and it will move itself and click when it is to turn on the defrost, etc. . .. If the timer is working, then fan or thermactor or defrost heating coil. My experience usually the thermactor or fan. Multi tester is useful in testing for live current to fan and thermactor and defrost heating coil and out of timer. You can see if the thermactor and defrost coil are working because the coil gets warm to hot to the touch; activate it with moving the timer. $25-45, I suppose, without labor.
