depends. some wikis are really comprehensive and the info are verifiable. some people say that wikis cannot be trusted cuz anyone could just edit and make stuff up etc.. but i say, a person's judgment is more important. if you see an info that doesn't have a citation, then don't use that info. plain and simple.

Wikis are good, but there are some people out there who just want to screw with people - I actually go round the pages making corrections on things like spelling and grammar, but if I add information to the page I'll always make sure that I include at least on reference from a 'proper' source, so that people know where it has come from.
Use them by all means, but check and use the references the information is from too.

sometimes, but i would look at the source. most wikis will use the canon comics or creator interviews to back up their claims. so check the source to verify that the information is correct, some people are immature and do the whole "so and so is x sorry i don't make the rules" which is basically "because i said so"

I wold assume so. I would trust wiki on non-fictional things tho. But you can count on fictional things.

You can never truly trust wiki. Anyone can edit it and can put in anything they want. Most of the time it is true but there is times where it is wrong. Try going to the bottom of the wiki article and looking at the recourses

Look at the sources. Don't believe anything wiki without looking at the given source and determining whether or not it's credible. When it comes to comic book characters, the source should go back to a particular issue of the comic where it was stated. If there is no source, then you have no reason to trust it.
