Is it cheaper to use a couple of strings of fairy lights around the room in the evening or the main power light?

Say 2 long strings of fairy lights plugged into the mains vs the standard overhead lightbulb (UK)

    check the watts on both, whichever is the lower is the cheaper.

    Incandescent fairy lights use more energy per Lumen, than a single larger bulb of the same type.

    Count both power consumption wattages to find out which one is less.

    Hi so today we have LED lights which consume very little power.
