Are you offended that most Hurricanes have European names?

Oh yes it's SO offensive to use European names when living in a Eurocentric country that uses a European first language *sarcasm*.

I don't see how anyone could possibly get triggered by this - immigrants that go to live in America want the European lifestyle. They want to learn English. What's the point of moving to America if you're going to demand they start naming their Hurricanes "王伟".

When I go travelling to India or Botsawana, I don't get offended that they use Indian or Botswana names. That's preposterous. I don't demand they respect MY culture. No - it's their culture - they do what they want - I am just a tourist.

The white (of Euro descent) scientists who name these hurricanes have simlilar names.

Next hurricane can be named Laqueefa (= traditional African ghetto name) if you want. I don't care.
