Why are the Cleveland Browns Still bad? How can it not work with a new QB and some high draft picks? Some said they would be good this year?

Really?

The (new) Browns have been around for over 20 years. Kind of hard to build a team when you are switching out coaching staffs, the head coach, the quarterback and 3/4 of the team every year and not retaining many players and terrible free agents. Kind of hard when you have a terrible GM and owner also.

The still need more time to build up the team. The problem is their best players usually leave by then or get suspended

I think they will be better this year

I think they will be better this year - but better doesn't always mean more wins. If the high draft picks play well they become building blocks for the next draft. That said I think they have made some good personnel moves and they will win around 4 games this year.

I watched the highlight last night, and man some of the players are acting like it is a preseason game. It requires a serious of management changes.

The browns are good at being bad which is why people love them, they got cheated out of a parade last year because they turned around and won a game at the end of the season

It is going to take the Browns a few years to think about getting better. They just don't have the horses right now to compete. Especially if they are depending on Deshonne Kizer to be their QB. Until they can actually draft and develop a true franchise quarterback as well as add more pieces, the Browns are going to continue to be the doormat of the NFL.

They will be much better this year but they need another good draft or two.

A team that almost went winless last year isn't going to turn into a good team overnight.
