I really want a Father.?
This may sound crazy, but really want a father. I grew up without a dad. Now I'm an adult, I still really want a Father. I pray to God. I just still feel this empty void in my life. How do I get a father, even just for a day

God is a father. Your relationship with God as Father can deepen over your lifetime and become increasingly meaningful. So don't think it doesn't count just because God is not a human person.
In your mind you have an ideal of what a father should be to you. Think about what those qualities are. For example, a good father gives guidance. He is a teacher. He is protective. He wants us to do our best, but he accepts us for who we are. You may have your own list of qualities. Now think about how you can find these qualities in other people. There may not be one single person who offers all these qualities for you, but you may still be able to find them in different friends or relatives. Some of them may be father figures or mentors, others may be peers, or even celebrities or cultural figures or fictional characters that you admire.
You can and should grieve not having had the father you wanted and deserved. But you can also discover that there really is no void in you. Nothing is missing. You are complete. The qualities of a father are even inside you yourself.
