Move on and think that you are too good for him/her. He/she doesn't deserve you. Find someone that is loyal to you, not someone who lied to you.

It could take at least a year; maybe longer but the pain lessens with time. That's about how long it takes when a person loses their spouse. I'm not saying that you'll ever get over it; I'm just saying that the depth of the loss lessens as more time elapses especially if you keep involved with friends and family.
