Approximately 8 months ago, I had a blown head gasket and I brought my Jeep Grand Cherokee to a Jeep dealership to fix it. My head gasket has blown again, I have no idea why, I dont drive any way that it should be happening.  Am I gonna have to pay Jeep another couple thoasand to fix it again or is there some type of warranty for their repair.

I am just trying to understand. Is it legal in Union Laws for a supervisor to be represented by the same union that that represents the employees ? For instance, I am a law enforcment officer and our sergeants are represented by the union that represents us and can even be union reps for it. But if you are to be written up for some sort of misconduct, it would be a sergeant that would do it. Isn't this a conflict of interest ?

I already had my hearing with the judge and it was approved. According to Workers Compensation Law, I have a 10 day withdrawal period that began on January 3rd, ended on January 13th. I am now just waiting to recieve my "Notice Of Aprroval" from the Workers Compensation Board and then I know the Insurance company has 10 days to issue a check. How long does it take for board to send the "Notice Of Approval" ? I also am wondering, I set up direct deposit for the payment. Can a large sum of money be direct deposited ? and would funds be made availiable sooner then if they sent a check ? Lots of questions lol Any clarification is greatly appreciated !!

I have a list of about 22,000 names on a .pdf file (names of all officers in my department), and I have another list of 300 or so names on a .doc file. Is there anyway I can easily cross reference the two to see if there is any matches. For example, I want to see if "John Doe" from the "300" list is located on the "22,000" list. I tried to use search to highlight names but its just too many.

Im a 28 year old man who dated a woman i work with. I was extremely attracted to her and i chased her for a long time ( a year and a half) and then she out of no where felt feelings for me. She brought me home and i fell in love with her and her family. I just loved the family setting because all my family is deceased. She always told me that she wasnt attracted to me but she loved my personality and after we dated for 2 years she dumped me out of no where. We havnt spoken in almost a month and i had to take a leave of absence from work. Im a law enforcment officer and i couldnt keep my composure at work which was not safe. I feel like im taking this breakup very bad and im worried that its not normal. Almost everyday i cry or want to. I kinda always thought we would have to end because she doesnt want kids or marriage and i do.. but i guess i was always hoping she change her mind. When will I get better ?

I have a Compaq CQ60 that the screen was destroyed and lid basically ripped off, so I bought a Compaq CQ62, which is the model right after, I basically would like to get all my songs and files and confirmation numbers for like my anti virus (which is my main reason because I bought 2 years of the anti virus software in advance and broke the computer like a week later.) Anywayss, I just took out the harddrive from the broken laptop and now my question is, can I take the harddrive out of the computer Im using right now, put that harddrive in, get a flash drive, get all my stuff out the old harddrive, then put the new hardrive back into the new computer, I know its prolly confusing but just read it slow and let me know...thanks so much =)

My father was extremely ill and he was in the hospital (Sound Shore Medical Center, which is on the list for top 15 worse hospitals in New York Sate) and his room was about 20 feet from the nurses station because he always had to be under close watch. One day, whatever the reason, he stopped breathing and his brain died due to lack of oxygen. I know that it takes atleast 4 minutes for brain cells to start to die but his brain death was far more serious, he eventually went so long without oxygen he had no brain activity what so ever and no response to pain stimulus. For this to occur it would take several minutes of no oxygen, and I feel being he was so close to the nurses station he should have been discovered before a hundred percent of his brain died. Due to his wishes my family made the quite difficult decision to pull his plug. It has been almost a year ago now, but now that I am finally coping to his death and learning to live with it, I feel someone should pay for this horrific event... Do I have a case ?

Also - I am a 22 year old boy, my father died, and immediatley after my father died, two days later my mom had a stroke which led to her untimely demise only 3 months after my father and now I am alone, and I feel I should be taken care of because I now someone made a mistake.

Hello fellow Yahoo Answers Users !!! My name is Joey and I have a verrrrry old boiler in my home and during the hurricane Irene (5 months ago) my basement flooded with about 5 feet of raw sewage water... yuck ! And this is not the first time it happened ! Anyways, prior to the storm I shut off my gas to the boiler because of a previous event, same situation but I didn't know to shut off the gas and I was evacuated out of my home because the sewer water was almost at my electrical box and lets just say my home was nearly a fireball, keen for roasting yummy marshmallows. I am a typical handyman, not too many things I can't sit and figure out how to fix, but this boiler gave me a challenge since august ! Long story short, I took the entire gas system apart, cleaned it out...THOROUGHLY and bada bing bada boom ! we got the pilot light back on ! However ! the boiler has no problem whats so ever lighting when the thermostat tells it to, but a few little problems.. 1, the radiators just aren't hot enough, they are hot, just not to the point that they cant be touched, which I feel is the only way a radiator should be, however its burrrrning hot right before the entry valve of every radiator in my home, and veryyyyy hot on the bottom of the radiator and not so much towards the top of it. I know I know it definitely sounds like a bleeding problem but I don't know that just isn't it... I know someone is going to tell me to bleed them, been there done that.. Problem number 2 ! My boiler actually reads zero pressure ! I don't know if that's possible because I do have some heat in these radiators just not as much as Id like so maybe the gauge is busted ?... IF someone can just explain to me the importance and cause and effect of superb boiler pressure... OH YEAH and I recently just noticed that 3 of the radiators in my home, is missing the screw that is unscrewed to bleed the radiators !!!!, I'm not too sure if that could or would effect the boiler pressure but I figured Id throw that in there as a possibility and finally how are old boilers pressure increased ? A valve, I have read on some sites a screw ? Please if someone could answer all these questions I would greatly appreciate it ! Thanks !

I just need a little inspirational speech. Both my parents died this year, my father died of sickness, and my mother died of a broken heart. I was very close to my parents, I have an older brother that resents me and wants nothing to do with me. Im not a bad kid, Im so nice to everyone and I just feel so alone. Im so unbelievably deprerssed. I know alot of people are going to say see a psycholigist or a therapist and get help, but I have no insurance, and no money. MY parents left me with an outstanding electric bill that Im going to have my service shut off, and left me in a empty house about to be forclosed, I am totally stuck. I hate my job. It not what I want to do with my life and I have no choice to do it (construction) I was in college full time, happy doing good, then all this death came and I had to drop out and get a full time job that Im not making nearly enough money. Im basically just so affraid of actually having to start my life as a man and be alone just like evryone else. Whoever reads this has got to understand how desperate I am to talk to someone because Im writing all this to yahoo answers (lol) I really just need some people to say soemthign to me that will open my eyes and make me realise that something is going to happen to me that will put a smile on my face and make me feel excited towards soemthing. I dont want anyone to think Im going to kill myself because IM NOT, If I had the balls to, I would have done it already. Im very happy to be alive, just not happy with this situation Im forced to be in. Please someone just write a long inspirational speech for me to help me.
