Why do methodists dabble in the occult?

They claim that the zodiac is just a method of determining personalities, and that it's okay, even though it's mentioned in the bible as a bad thing.

I suspect that in many different churches there will be those who read their horoscope, but rarely other stuff, perhaps palm and tea-cup reading

For the most part the methodist church became very liberal decades ago but that doesn't mean it's members turned to the occult.

I don't think very many do.

They have become lost souls..... if that is true.

methodists aren't Christian.

For some people, spiritualism and divination is a kind of buffet. Sure, you may go back for a second helping of Jesus, but the whole point is to sample the other platters. This is typical Pisces behavior.
