Light does travel. It moves in waves. It can go through clear glass because it can.

Glass only looks clear to us because it doesn't reflect any light within the visible spectrum. if we could see heat, we could never look through glass.

Should have listened to your science teacher. Light travels in various ways- and light is a form of energy. Look it up. Has NOTHING to do with religious beliefs or lack of them.

    Ask a physicist

This has nothing to do with religion

yes. light is a real thing. And it really does move. It's a form of radiation that we can see. It is observable as photons. Photons can travel through a sheet of glass because they are so small. Fun fact: only certain wavelengths will pass through a sheet of clear glass. if the wavelength of light is shorter than the thickness of the medium it's passing through, it probably won't pass through it.

No, light does not travel at all. It gives that appearance due to reflections and such but actually it's just the air disturbance being passed along with the light. It can go through clear glass because it's not traveling, actually, but simply disturbing the air on both sides of the glass, sort of like a very fast magic trick.

Clear glass absorbs and reflects fewer photons, allowing it to pass through. Like how it passes through air, which also absorbs and reflects a certain, though infinitesimal, amount of the light. Which is why the sky is blue.
