Unicorn in the bible means "one horn' and refers probably to a real ox.?
from Late Latin unicornus (Vulgate), from noun use of Latin unicornis (adj.) "having one horn," from uni- "one" + cornus "horn,"
The Late Latin word translates Greek monoceros, itself rendering Hebrew re'em (Deuteronomy xxxiii.17 and elsewhere), which probably was a kind of wild ox.

In the Bible
"unicorn" is translated from the Greek "monocerous"
The translation is direct -- both words mean "one horn"
"monocerous" is an interpretive translation from the Hebrew Re'em.
In Deuteronomy 33:17, there is clear use of "horns" - plural.
So Monocerous/Unicorn is indeed clearly wrong.
Note - just from an overview of Middle Eastern fauna and the metaphors used in the Bible, the Re'em is more likely some type of large Antelope rather than an "Ox".
It may be worth noting (and perhaps this is where the monoceros idea came from for the translator) that in the Middle East there is a very persistent ...legend of herds of unicorns (with sightings as late as the 19th century) which are in appearance large antelopes with a single horn.
The Black Stele in the British Museum shows such a one-horned animal being brought in tribute to whoever the despot celebrated on the Stele was.
(Assyrian, I think)

the Bible actually says horned horse in several different places and with modern scientific archaeological discovery they have dug up several real skeletons of real horses that have one horn they are real horses not an ox or a cow or some other species they have one of a unicorn full that still has its skin and some further on it look it up on Google it's absolutely amazing

It would be interesting to see where the word and myth of Unicorns came from. It may have been because of the translation used in the Bible. People certain still believe that Daniel's prophecy is accurate and don't realize that it is not, they just accept the Bible without checking the facts.
