If area of a parallelogram with sides m and n is P and that of a rectange with sides m and n is R, then are both areas equal?

    If sides m and n are sides that intersect, the areas P and R will not be equal unless the "parallelogram" is itself a rectangle. If the angles are not right angles, P will be smaller than R.
