How do i fix my baldness at such a young age?

So im currently 16 turning 17 on november 6. I have realized that since almost a year maybe a year and a half, i have been showing signs of baldness on my head. Like the hair on the crown of my head is very thin, making me look bald. My friends have told me that my hairline has been receeding. Im barely 16 but it looks bad if you pay attention to it. Especially the thin hair in the back of my hair. My dad is kinda bald, he has very thin to little hair on the top of his head, but hes already 50. I just wanna know if theres a way i can grow my hair back. I usually take showers in steaming hot water, but i read that it isnt good for you. What can i do to grow my hair back?

I think you should see a doctor. Losing hair young isn't that uncommon but you're very young.

Balding is usually genetic, passed down through mom not dad.

Hot showers are fine. What's important is eating healthy, getting lots of rest, and don't use heat, dyes, etc., on your hair. When it's wet, use a comb, not a brush. Otherwise it breaks the hair.

go to a cancer charity event and just shave it off, along with everyone else. beat it now before it gets to you, and do it for a good cause. then, if you still want your hair back, there are hair restoring companies that people have used to fight baldness, and seems to work. though, i imagine it's expensive. "Bosely", "restore hair", are two companies to look into. get free consultations, and go over finance options.
