Do you need to fill the bath up BEFORE tiling above the bath? Some say yes, some say no. I personally think no.?

    Um, I'd say no because the tiles seal to the wall and no water can get through. If you leave water in the bath then moisture will get in between the tile and the wall. Just so you know, I have no experience tiling at all.

    put some weight in the bath or the water will pull the bath down from the tiles breaking the seal unless it has cast iron feet
