Do I put my book on amazon.com.au or amazon.com?
I'm in Australia so I don't know which is better for my book - amazon.com.au or amazon.com
I'm in Australia, but I imagine more people use amazon.com?
If I put it on both, the reviews are split between the two (not good).

If it has to be either or, then I would definitely say amazon.com - also because your book will be available to more international customers. I'm in Denmark and I can't buy kindle books from amazon.co.uk or amazon.com.au - it has to be through amazon.com.

If you're talking about self-publishing through KDP, your book is automatically available on all Amazon stores - there's no need to choose. You can tell Amazon not to sell it in certain countries, but there's no reason to do this unless the book has already been published by someone else in those countries and you have a contract with them that allows them to publish it exclusively.
EDIT: On the subject of reviews being split, if a reader views a book on Amazon UK and it has no reviews there, or only a few, Amazon will pull in reviews from the US site (labelled as such). I assume it's the same with the AU site.
