Whats a good time to clean your house, vacuuming, washing floors, windows ?...?

20 years ago I would have said every Friday, because then you're done for the weekend when most of the family is home. Now: I would say that the family just trashes the house and it looks terrible again by Monday. In another week, I'm probably going to say Never.

As for windows, only ones with handprints on them should be done weekly. Sweeping/Vacuuming/bedding changes should all be done weekly and maybe more often if you have pets that shed heavily. Bedding changes each week with sheets being washed in hot water and then dried on hot is important to get rid of mites, and teen smells.

For the laziest of us: when your mother-in-law is coming to visit....
