selfharm cuts.. help?
so i selfharmed the night before using one blade from scissors. theyre really minor cuts and look like cat scratches. theyre still sore but not inflamed. i dont have antibiotic ointment, but ive washed my wrist. considering they look like non-deep surface cat scratches, how long do u guess it would take for the redness to go away and for them to just be brown scabs? i am desperate to know because after i had done it my mom said that if she found out im cutting again, she would make me live with my dad

They won't really scab up for at least a week.
You need to treat the wound like you would any other healing wound.
You do not want things to scab either, that will leave a worse scar.
Go to the drugstore, get the proper wound care, and care for your wound.

A few days.
I suggest you use a elastic band.
I used to snap mine tie a knot in it then wear it like a bracelet letting the knot hit my wrist.
It hurts more than cutting and it doesn't leave a scar. Self harm ain't healthy but this is the bettwr alternative.
Pleaee seek school counsellor, teacher, parent or doctors help.
There are also plenty of forums and FB private groups you can search for.
