Why don't conservatives put their guns down for a moment and pray to God that he can bring them back from the dead since they are too pretty to step aside from political correctness and ask their representitives in congress to fix a broken system to prevent the spillege of blood in one more mass shooting since they have difficulties understanding that for some reason guns are so popular to kill people with, instead of other things?

oddly enough.... have you noticed that the ones who seem to get so offended by "thoughts and prayers" are the same ones who have no problem defending anthem kneelers...even going out of their way to tell us how "powerful" such a gesture is?

In a way, they are. If you listen to what they have said about the red states before the disaster then it become clear that they have no empathy for those who were ruined in the Texas floods.
