I swollowed gum and I’m really scared?

I swollowed gum eerlier today when I was eating my holloween candy I didn’t finish bc I thought the gum was candy and now I’m so scared I heard it causes appendicitis so I’m literally crying pls help I’m so depressed and scared I’m shaking

    It's fine a couple of times. It doesn't cause appendicitis, but you can choke on it or it can wrap around or irritate your insides. You'll be okay

    You heard wrong. Gum is totally harmless and it will just pass straight through.

    Don't you worry. If you swallow gum, your body will move it through your digestive system and it ends up in the toilet.

    You're fine. I used to swallow my gum all the time when I was a kid and I never had any health issues.

    If you swallow gum one time, it's not gonna affect you long-term or chronically in any way. At worst, you'll get a little stomach ache.

    yikes you should go see a doctor. Especially if you were eating more candy. The mount of sugar you have in your system can contribute to how the gum affects you. The more sugar the harder it is to dissolve thus leading to appendicitis and you can get seriously ill
