Glasses help!?

Hi!

I need to order some glasses online and I just went to the eye doctor to get a prescription. At first I was confused but now I think I understand, can anyone confirm this...

1st prescription says :(OD) Spher +1.00, Cyl -0.75, Axis 177...(OS) Spher +0.75, Cyl -0.50, Axis 175

2nd perception says: (OD) Spher +0.50, Cyl -0.75, Axis 177, NV add +0.50...(OS) +0.25, cyl -0.50, axis 175, Nv add +0.50..

Does this mean I will order progressives with a top section of 0.50 and 0.25 with a bottom addition of 0.50 for objects closer?

Update:

Also can you order glasses only with only a +0.50 add? Im having trouble finding a sight..ive tried Zenni, goggles4u, and eye direct.

Update 2:

Also would it be possible to just go ahead and order with +0.75 imstead of 0.50?

I use zenni for progressives. Work fine for me. Order the ADD as +.75. Will be fine.

The first is for full single vision reading glasses.

The second is for progressives if you want, and yes, you can order a + 075 ADD instead , with the +0.50 - 0.75 x 177 at the top for distance. Your Doc should know there are no + 0.50 ADD powers in progressives. The + 0.75 will be more effective anyway and last you longer.

Just a warning, progressives ordered online rarely work well. There is no possible way they can accurately guess at the height to start the progression. When the proper height is off, either the distance is blurry when it's too high or you have to put your head way back to read when it's too low.

Single vision reading glasses would be a lot safer to have made right and also give a much wider field of view.
