Christians if Romans and not the Jews killed Jesus Christ then who killed John The Baptist?

The Bible clearly says that the Jews did all the killing. The poor inocent Romans were only caught in the middle and tricked. The Romans were probably only there to help civilize the Jews and bring in jobs and trade. Administering Judea was like a charity thing for the Romans.

That is, Herod the Great was from a neighboring tribe which was conquered and forcibly converted to Judaism after the Maccabees and their followers had succeeded in establishing political, as well as religious, autonomy from the Seleucid Empire. This, of course, opened the way for the subsequent Roman conquest to arrange one of their favorite ways of governing a subject population: Declare a King who was technically part of that population, but not really accepted by it.

I doubt many Jews considered the Herodians to be genuinely Jewish.

Herod Antipas, the son of Herod the Great who had the Baptist killed, was raised to be cozy with Romans and antagonistic toward his Jewish subjects. Yes, he was sort-of a Jew, as a technicality.

A person can battle the culture of death using the rosary and fasting.

Romans did the act because the Jews demanded it, but Jesus died because of my sins and yours. He gave His life, no man took it.
