    If you had a car, where by paying extra, all other vehicles had to move out of the way of you, and lanes had to be kept cleared for you - you'd get around faster if you paid extra - it's like that. A firm like Microsoft could pay internet providers to give all their internet traffic priority.

    Trump is repealing Net Neutrality because Obama introduced it. I'm pretty sure he's got some sort of mental illness now.

    Imagine your cable company having a say into what you watch, stream, download and look at. That is what NetNeutrality ISN"T about. Oh yeah, and you pay by the gigabyte.

    You should be. It is a way of giving some providers control over their competition - and the ability to charge for premium services by artificially slowing down alternatives. Very much a problem of our age, but by no means restricted to the first world.
