Iphone or Samsung? And why?

Overall, iPhones are much better than Samsung, however, I'm quite annoyed how Apple are charging these ridiculous prices for basically and iPhone 7 that scans your face and looks different! Honestly, I have had a Samung before and couldn't get used to it, so have always gone back to Apple, but the way the prices are looking my iPhone 6s is gonna last me for a long time. Although, if this is for you personally (deciding what phone to get), choose an Apple, but not anything further than a 7 model.

It depends on your priorities honestly.
If you want a good camera, easy downloads free, cool wireless charging features, then go for samsung. If you want smooth running apps, also kind of good camera, but with extra cost for earphones and charger, get an iphone. The camera quality of recent Samsungs is amazing, and the interface is beautiful. In addition, you can easily download songs for free which is almost always blocked on Apple phones. However the majority of apps were invented or adjusted to iOS, meaning all apps run much more smoothly on an iPhone, and the systems generally prevent the stupid glitches you'll see on Samsung. I have a Samsung though and at this point I'm used to them. I can't be specific without the exact models though.

Iphone, however, I don't like how Apple is just adding random stuff to the Iphone 7, calling it the "Iphone X," and then just passing it off as worth $1000.

Out of two, I would choose samsung for it's Android OS. It allows more personalization and that's what I look for in my phone.

Android, not Samsung.
Apple's products are the definition of overpriced.
