By which Authority did Paul write parts of the NT?
All the other books of the NT were written by people that lived with Jesus Christ and heard his words. The four gospels are filled with the words of Christ. But then comes Paul who was a tyrant and persecuter of Christians and claims authority to write books teaching things that contradict with what Christ taught. The disciples who wrote the gospels rarely if ever wrote something of their own or taught something of their own they just echoed the teachings of Christ. But Paul came from his evil background ready with new ideas new ways and new teachings. Making outrageous claims about himself. He never lived with Jesus he was never a disciple.

Uhh... no.
Paul wrote instruction letters to churches that he founded. They were collected and authenticated as actual Christian teaching, and used that way among all Christians for a couple hundred years before the Church got around to identifying its own scriptures by name, and excluding those works that were not universally received.

Paul did not claim (or possibly even know) that what he was writing was scripture. His conversion was witnessed by early respected Christians and His authority acknowledged by the other Apostles - such a Peter, who compared Paul's writing to scripture.

15 and consider that the longsuffering of our Lord is salvation—as also our beloved brother Paul, according to the wisdom given to him, has written to you, 16 as also in all his epistles, speaking in them of these things, in which are some things hard to understand, which untaught and unstable people twist to their own destruction, as they do also the rest of the Scriptures.

Paul didn't write any books of the Bible. He wrote letters to churches advising them about how to handle various problems. He didn't expect those letters to be saved, but they were edited and eventually included in the Bible, but it wasn't Paul's idea at all. Paul met with the Leaders of the Christian community in Jerusalem and they agreed with what he was doing.
I suppose you're right about Paul being a major sinner, since he says that about himself in some of his letters.
I used to have some really negative ideas about Paul and then I went to seminary and I did some close reading of all parts of the Bible, and this inevitably involved reading Paul's letters. I now have a much more positive view of Paul. I suspect that when you get better acquainted with the man, not stuff folks write about him you might feel differently also. There is no indication Paul was ever evil. He always was doing the best he could, according to his best knowledge. When Christ encountered him on the road to Damascus, he underwent a major conversion, and had some direct experiences with Jesus and spent some years in fasting, prayer and study with Christian teachers. Read his account where he expresses his profound gratitude for all of those people who taught him the faith. You may find it intriguing that he names names in his letter to the Church in Rome.

You haven't read of Paul's conversion to Christ, have you? Acts 9 covers it, and much more. Considering Paul's horrible beginnings, his post-conversion Epistles reveal what it means to be born-again, and to have a new life as an Apostle. His Epistles are filled with New Testament doctrine showing Jesus at the center of the Old Testament.

You have not read that Jesus Chose Paul. Paul's work was to go to the gentiles: really hard for an orthodox Jew to do. But Paul was obedient, Prayed and studied for 3 intense years.
Where did he disagree? He never did. He was under the Authority of Christ.
We owe Christianity to Paul.

Paul had the most powerful direct call from Jesus Christ (who had returned to his awesome glory) of anyone in history. Through him we received the awesomely beautiful, powerful and informative Book of Romans that really helps us understand the gospel and other beautiful books Jesus Christ is so life-transforming that a person's past does not even cause so much as a glimmer of a problem.

He wrote it by his own authority. Then he wrote that his own scripture was authorized by God, and idiot Christians buy it.
