There will never be peace there now.
Of course, this is exactly what trump wanted since he's such a miserable individual.

NOT forever dead, but not possible until Trump is gone and someone with some common sense can reverse most of the damage he has done.

No. The move to exalt Jerusalem over Tel Aviv is a move to recognize the importance of religious unity, since Jerusalem represents the 3 big Western religions (Christianity, Judaism, and Islam).

Trump's numbers are falling with evangelicals in the South. So he comes up with a 'publicity stunt' to get himself a lot of attention, to get his ugly mug pasted on the front page again. But you know he didn't talk to experts, or even his staff, before coming out with the announcement, just like the time he announced they were going to kick all the transsexuals out of the military. Just like when he promised to root out and deport 11 million illegals living among us throughout the country, and to build a wall along the border and get Mexico to pay for it. Trump just says whatever passes through his mind in the moment.
And just as with the trannies in the military, I think now we're going to hear from the actual experts in foreign relations--those who are left in the State Dept. after Trump's purge. They'll reassure us that what Trump is promising is impossible and Trump was just throwing out a suggestion and no, we're not gonna do that, it would be stupid.

A real rebellion would allow Israel to eliminate all the Palestinians like they always wanted to.

I would yes and I would wonder why he would make this declaration about the Capital at such a volatile time. It makes no sense whatsoever. What qualifies someone to lead a country? Being a good business person does not equate to being a world leader especially where human being are concerned. Being skillful on a human level and being skillful on a business level is totally different.

That region of the world has been at war for four thousand years.
Anyone who actually thinks there is any hope of Peace also believes in the Tooth Fairy.
