Go to the human resources web pages of the university or college and look at student job listings. That's how i gotr my last two college work study jobs.. I got my first college work study job because someone was looking for someone to take her pace. the problem with college work study jobs is one you have earned back your temporary loan, you have no more job, so ANY student who applies for your job and successfully interviews can take your place, and they DO NOT have to betting ANY other financial aid. i NEVER went to to the financial aid office EXCEPT , MAYBE when i applied to be graduate teaching assistant., and i was NOT getting any other financial aid then.
Colleges and universities have human resources offices. i went there to look at job listings more than once, NOT the financial aid office.

Most (often, all) on-campus jobs are awarded to financial aid recipients as part of their financial aid package. They are federally funded & limited to US citizens & legal permanent residents. There can be far more students receiving financial aid than campus jobs for them.
IF there are any "leftover" work-study jobs after financial aid recipients have been awarded jobs in their financial aid packages, they will be open to other applicants who are students. See the financial aid office.

Work-study positions are generally available through the financial aid office. They would be included in any financial aid package you are offered. Be certain to indicate you are interested in work-study when applying for financial aid.
