What should I get my dad for Christmas?
I have not been able to come up with something to get my dad for Christmas this year. I want to get him something special, not just a movie or gift card. He is in his 40s, works a lot, and loves Christmas, running, and Disney. I have a very limited budget ($30-$40) Any ideas?

You can get a cheap mp3 player for about 15 dollars. Than you can download/make him a running mix utilizing the other 15-25 dollars with music already at your disposal. Put a lot of thought into the mix too. Put things on there that you know he likes, and then things that you like that you think he may enjoy. Even put things that you may not necessarily like, but think he would like that he hasn't heard/or may not know about. (Disney actually has a lot of good original songs AND a lot of good remakes/remixes to those songs. ) He probably already has something he listens to while running, but the mp3 player and playlist would be from YOU.
I know this may not sound like an unique idea, but it is a classic for a reason. The fact that you put time and effort into creating something for him is the biggest part of the sentiment. Plus this wouldn't be just something that is a one time use, or a set there and look at item. It is something that he would use quite often, thinking of you each time.

Get him a nice pair of running shoes. They could be having a sale. Or give him Disney stuff......?

just spend the quality time with your Dad and cook something for your Dad and wish him. I think that is the best. Hope so you like this idea :-)

Any hobbies? Is he a DIYer? Do you talk to an uncle? Friends? In the end most fathers wouldn't care so much about the physical gift, but rather that you love and care about him.

My dad loves peanuts so I got him a bag of peanuts. Food items or beer is not a bad idea in my opinion.
