Here is something you might consider. Make your mother this promise: "I pledge that when you are old and vulnerable I'll treat you with exactly as much love and support as you are treating me now". I don't necessarily advocate that, but it might be worth thinking about in certain circumstances........

I often suggest that people do some voluntary work, perhaps involving animals - even if just a couple of hours a week. It will benefit your community (local or global), and also will help give you a better sense of your own value, meet some great people - and could possibly even lead to a job, perhaps.

There is a trick to get people we are not getting on with onto our side. Send them lots of light and love. Imagine them in a pool of golden light, happy and loving. Do this quite a lot and with genuine wish to help them. Most people do the opposite, thinking about how they hate them, etc., and this just makes it worse. Everyone responds to love - really they do!

No, the don't hate you ! They are just a little disappointed in you. They want to see you

do really well in school and get into a good collage and make something of yourself.

Just study hard and maybe get your folks involved in your studding with you. They they

will see that you are doing your best for them.
