My 7 month old black lab has red under eyes?
i never really realized it, but sometimes when he’s lookin around i can see that like under his eyes is really red and im not sure why. It doesn’t seem to bother him , he doesn’t rub them , no discharge , nothing. I’ve read up on it that it could be pink eye but it does not bother him. He does play outside and goes out there to go to the bathroom obviously so maybe its something from being outside?

Ask your vet, there are none on YA answers. The vet will need to examine him to reach a proper diagnosis/treatment plan.

He does have a mild infection, as labs are not known for eye diseases. A simple over-the-counter remedy for redness in human eyes works just as well on puppy eyes. If he has also a mild cough or sneezes a lot, he could have an allergy, but labs are not known for seasonal allergies. So just go to Walgreen's and get some over-the-counter eye drops and just a drop in each eye every 8 hours should clear it up in about 5 days. I hope this helps! Sometimes PetSmart or PetCo will have puppy and kitten eyedrops for sale if you have such a store near you. It costs more but still works nice. But if not, your local Walgreens has a human version that works safely on animals. I hope puppy gets better!
