When drinking alcohol, I have trouble breathing but it goes away?
Beginning sometime last year, almost every time I drink alcohol I experience some onset trouble breathing/wheezing. It could be the first can/shot of alcohol or just the neck of a beer bottle. It usually lasts maybe 20 minutes to an hour but eventually goes away. At which point, I'm free to drink several beers/drinks with no abnormal effects nor trouble breathing.
Has anyone experienced this or have an idea what it is? I'm 30. Used to drink almost every weekend.
Again, I used to drink quite a lot. Not very often, about every weekend but would drink a lot. For the past 5 years the drinking has cut down to maybe 2 weekends a month.
