When you read the Old Testament, you need to make sure that what is written there still applies to us today.

However, what that was saying was that once you have paid a debt for that person and then they are cheating you or stealing, basically, correct them.

Since you are not under the Mosaic law, you can beat your slaves to death, which was allowed in all the other nations of that era, and continued to be "lawful" until the end of slavery in the US. Still, in some countries, mostly Muslim, you can beat them to death.

According to the BuyBull - Exodus 21:20-21 -- YES!

    It says:

If a man smite his servant or his maid, with a rod, and he die under his hand, he shall be surely punished; notwithstanding, if he continue a day or two, he shall not be punished, for he is his money.

By the way: "RandSgave me JESUS" -- is a filthy liar.

You should change your screen name to "R&S Liar for jesus"

Yep. Just make sure they barely cling to life and suffer for at least a day. God says then you're good to go.
