    You NEVER send money for any puppy. You always go in person and pick up the dog from the breeder and pay when you pick up and after you have a copy of the original vet records.

    That site doesn't work but legitimate breeders DO NOT sell to random people over the internet. They might have a website for their kennel but will always want to meet you in person before agreeing to sell to you

    Common sense you don't purchase any pet sight unseen. Once you've sent money you won't see any dog period. But they will laugh all the way to the banks with your money...

    If it's not a legit breeder (as backed by the AKC) you're taking a chance at sending money. If you can't drive over to get the dog I'd not order through anyone's website.

    If they are selling from a website its either a byb or puppymill.And therefore your highly likely to get well and truly ripped off also: Should you be foolish enough to send them your hard earned money.... good dogs dont come by mail order anyway they have to be personally selected from a worthy breeder and correctly trained.So do yourself a favour go pick your dog dont be foolish enough to pick and order one from online sources instead. And very certainly do not part with any money til you have the dog in person.

    Or your very likely to lose it indeed.

    As for reporting them..... Well its not illegal to breed dogs. So by the time the authorities get around to paying them as visit they are normally long gone . And cant be traced. so the best way to help defeat such poor indescriminate breeders is simply not to buy from them. thus denying them your custom and a market for their ill bred excuses for dogs. As the law stands currently...

    Though legislation is shortly to be in place in the U.k. and Europe to attempt to counter it;

    It is too little; and too late maybe though I fear.....https://www.gov.uk/government/news/new-plans-to-cr...

    .....It's effects remain to be seen

    The link didn't work for me anyway, however, I'm totally with Newf in that NO good breeder would just take a deposit without meeting you in person.

    If I was getting a puppy off of anyone I would expect to be sat down and grilled for a good hour before they agree to part with one of their precious pups to me.

    Not bothering to look. NO legitimate breeder would EVER take deposits for a puppy without MEETING YOU IN PERSON first and APPROVING you to buy one of their puppies.

    I'm also betting that these puppies are horribly bred "teacup" ones which are runty puppies that live short, sickly lives and die from their way too small hearts or anemia. I'm also betting NONE of the dogs they use for breeding hold titles because they're not using show quality dogs to breed with.

    Because more than 50% of sites selling pets are nothing but a scam, you risk loosing every penny you send them.

    A legitimate breeder will not hesitate to provide you with their breeders license number to verify being genuine.

    Best rule of thumb is never buy any animal, sight unseen,'photos don't count',,then you pay in full and take your pet with you. Legitimate breeders will also provide any vetting records without question. Shot record, worming etc,
