Many happy returns of the day.

At 19, I was in a precarious position. I wanted an education, but my parents didn't think that was important. So I felt very insecure about the future.

Pretty shotty. I had severe social anxiety so didnt leave the house. Was really unhealthy. Felt like **** all the time. Depressed. Thought about suicide everyday.

My life is great now. Wow. If I think about how I turned it all around.

I turned 19 in 1983. I was in college, lived at home and commuted, and worked 20-30 hours at a fast food restaurant.

My grandma, who was like a second mom and lived with us my entire life, died when I was 19. Later that year I had internal bleeding and spent over a week in the hospital. Received a few points of blood. They never found the cause.
