Did Protestants betray Jesus and their ethics for Donald Trump?

In 2011 PPRI asked people if an elected official who behaved unethically in his personal life could be trusted to behave ethically and fulfill their duty in their public office. Most said "No"

They asked the same question in 2016 and near 2/3rds had answered "Yes".

We all remember who was running in 2016.

    The choice was between 2 evils... they chose the lesser of the 2 evils.

    But you don't see the obvious answer that fits best: That Hillary was considered hateful, greedy, a liar, etc. Yes, it has nothing to do with the survey, it has to do with WHO he ran against.
